You can repent and ask Jesus into your heart anytime, anyplace. It is very easy, just say from your heart,
Father forgive me of my sins and Jesus come into my heart, fill me with you, and lead me in everything I do, lead me to a real good church and show me how to live my life, Jesus Name.
But many people want to know why they should repent? Because God says you need it.

Salvation is for everyone, but you have to want it with your heart
1. Matthew 9:11-13 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 11. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, “Why does your Master eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12. But when Jesus heard this, He said, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but [only] those who are sick. 13. Go and learn what this [Scripture] means: ‘I desire compassion [for those in distress], and not [animal] sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call [to repentance] the [self-proclaimed] righteous [who see no need to change], but sinners [those who recognize their sin and actively seek forgiveness].”
2. Luke 5:31-32 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 31. And Jesus replied to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but [only] those who are sick. 32. I did not come to call the [self-proclaimed] righteous [who see no need to repent], but sinners to repentance [to change their old way of thinking, to turn from sin and to seek God and His righteousness].”
3. Luke 15:7 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 7. I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.
4. Luke 15:10 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 10. In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents [that is, changes his inner self—his old way of thinking, regrets past sins, lives his life in a way that proves repentance; and seeks God’s purpose for his life].”
5. Luke 17:3-4 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 3. Pay attention and always be on guard [looking out for one another]! If your brother sins and disregards God’s precepts, solemnly warn him; and if he repents and changes, forgive him. 4. Even if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times and says, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him [that is, give up resentment and consider the offense recalled and annulled].”
6. Luke 24:46-48 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 46. and said, “And so it is written, that the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47. and that repentance [necessary] for forgiveness of sins would be preached in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48. You are witnesses of these things.
7. Acts 2:38 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 38. And Peter said to them, “Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
8. Acts 3:18-19 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 18. And so God has fulfilled what He foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ (Messiah, Anointed) would suffer. 19. So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day];
9. Acts 11:15-18 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 15. When I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as He did on us at the beginning [at Pentecost]. 16. Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He used to say, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ 17. So, if God gave Gentiles the same gift [equally] as He gave us after we accepted and believed and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ [as Savior], who was I to interfere or stand in God’s way?” 18. When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified and praised God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance that leads to eternal life [that is, real life after earthly death].”
10. Acts 17:22-31 (AMP), Salvation is for everyoneSermon on Mars Hill
22. So Paul, standing in the center of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I observe [with every turn I make throughout the city] that you are very religious and devout in all respects. 23. Now as I was going along and carefully looking at your objects of worship, I came to an altar with this inscription: ‘TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ Therefore what you already worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. 24. The God who created the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25. nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, because it is He who gives to all [people] life and breath and all things. 26. And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories. 27. This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. 28. For in Him we live and move and exist [that is, in Him we actually have our being], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’ 29. So then, being God’s children, we should not think that the Divine Nature (deity) is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination or skill of man. 30. Therefore God overlooked and disregarded the former ages of ignorance; but now He commands all people everywhere to repent [that is, to change their old way of thinking, to regret their past sins, and to seek God’s purpose for their lives], 31. because He has set a day when He will judge the inhabited world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed and destined for that task, and He has provided credible proof to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”
11. Acts 20:20-25 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 20. [you know] how I did not shrink back in fear from telling you anything that was for your benefit, or from teaching you in public meetings, and from house to house, 21. solemnly [and wholeheartedly] testifying to both Jews and Greeks, urging them to turn in repentance to God and [to have] faith in our Lord Jesus Christ [for salvation]. 22. And now, compelled by the Spirit and obligated by my convictions, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there, 23. except that the Holy Spirit solemnly [and emphatically] affirms to me in city after city that imprisonment and suffering await me. 24. But I do not consider my life as something of value or dear to me, so that I may [with joy] finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify faithfully of the good news of God’s [precious, undeserved] grace [which makes us free of the guilt of sin and grants us eternal life]. 25. “And now, listen carefully: I know that none of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will see me again.
12. 2 Timothy 2: 24-25 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone 24. The servant of the Lord must not participate in quarrels, but must be kind to everyone [even-tempered, preserving peace, and he must be], skilled in teaching, patient and tolerant when wronged. 25. He must correct those who are in opposition with courtesy and gentleness in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and be led to the knowledge of the truth [accurately understanding and welcoming it],
13. James 4:1-17 (AMP), Salvation is for everyone Things to Avoid
1. What leads to [the unending] quarrels and conflicts among you? Do they not come from your [hedonistic] desires that wage war in your [bodily] members [fighting for control over you]? 2. You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your lust goes unfulfilled; so you murder. You are envious and cannot obtain [the object of your envy]; so you fight and battle. You do not have because you do not ask [it of God]. 3. You ask [God for something] and do not receive it, because you ask with wrong motives [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda], so that [when you get what you want] you may spend it on your [hedonistic] desires. 4. You adulteresses [disloyal sinners—flirting with the world and breaking your vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend [that is, loving the things of the world] is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5. Or do you think that the Scripture says to no purpose that the [human] spirit which He has made to dwell in us lusts with envy? 6. But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].” 7. So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. 8. Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]. 9. Be miserable and grieve and weep [over your sin]. Let your [foolish] laughter be turned to mourning and your [reckless] joy to gloom. 10. Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose]. 11. Believers, do not speak against or slander one another. He who speaks [self-righteously] against a brother or judges his brother [hypocritically], speaks against the Law and judges the Law. If you judge the Law, you are not a doer of the Law but a judge of it. 12. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy [the one God who has the absolute power of life and death]; but who are you to [hypocritically or self-righteously] pass judgment on your neighbor? 13. Come now [and pay attention to this], you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and carry on our business and make a profit.” 14. Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen in your life tomorrow. [What is secure in your life?] You are merely a vapor [like a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam from a cooking pot] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes [into thin air]. 15. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and we will do this or that.” 16. But as it is, you boast [vainly] in your pretension and arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17. So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin.
14. 2 Peter 3:9 (esv), Salvation is for everyone 9. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
15. 1 John 1:9 (esv), Salvation is for everyone 9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Jesus is the Answer
16. Romans 6:23 (esv), Jesus is the Answer 23. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
17. Matthew 4:16-17 (esv), Jesus is the Answer 16. The people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.” 17. From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
18. John 1:1 (esv), Jesus is the Answer 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was God.

21. Acts 2:38 (esv), Jesus is the Answer 38. And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
22. Acts 4:12 (esv), Jesus is the Answer 12. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Father forgive me of my sins and Jesus come into my heart, fill me with you, and lead me in everything I do, lead me to a real good church and show me how to live my life, Jesus Name.

Stop Sinning and Start Acting Like a Child of God
23. Matthew 3:5-10 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 5. Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region about the Jordan were going out to him, 6. and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins. 7. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8. Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. 9. And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. 10. Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
24. Matthew 21:31-32 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 31. Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes go into the kingdom of God before you. 32. For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward change your minds and believe him.
25. Mark 1:14-15 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 14. Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, 15. and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
26. Mark 6:10-14 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 10. And he said to them, “Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you depart from there. 11. And if any place will not receive you and they will not listen to you, when you leave, shake off the dust that is on your feet as a testimony against them.” 12. So they went out and proclaimed that people should repent. 13. And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them. 14. King Herod heard of it, for Jesus' name had become known. Some said, “John the Baptist has been raised from the dead. That is why these miraculous powers are at work in him.”
27. Acts 5:30-32 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 30. The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree. 31. God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32. And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
28. Romans 2:4-5 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 4. Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? 5. But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.
29. 2 Corinthians 7:9-10 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 9. As it is, I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because you were grieved into repenting. For you felt a godly grief, so that you suffered no loss through us. 10. For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.
30. Revelation 2:4-5 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 4. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. 5. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
31. Revelation 3:2-5 (esv), Stop Sinning and start acting like the children of God 2. Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. 3. Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. 4. Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. 5. The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.
